Lumaris Company OS

The documented operating system for Lumaris Consulting Pty Ltd — how the firm sets direction, runs its functions, makes decisions, and measures itself. This is a living set of markdown documents, not software. It complements (and links to) two things that already exist:

  • ops-hub — the live internal dashboard (pipeline via HubSpot, finance via Xero, people via Employment Hero, project delivery tracking). Where this OS talks about a metric or process that ops-hub already surfaces, it links there rather than duplicating the data.
  • ISMS / ISO 27001 documentation (Google Drive, Lumaris shared drive) — information security policy, standards, and procedures. This OS does not restate security controls; see company/functions/operations/README.md for the pointer.

Each function folder has a README.md as its entry point, written for someone stepping into that function cold — a new hire, a director covering for someone on leave, or future-you in six months.

How to use this

  • Starting something new? Check the relevant function folder first — there's likely a lifecycle or checklist already defined.
  • Something doesn't match reality? This OS should describe how Lumaris actually runs, not an aspirational ideal. Edit it. Stale docs are worse than no docs.
  • Something marked TODO? These are places where I (Claude) didn't have a confirmed source and didn't want to invent one. Fill in from what's actually true and remove the marker.
